1 Bedroom available in Shared 3 Bdrm/2 Bath Fully Furnished House in Leslieville (Shared Housing)

This is a fully furnished, smoke, drug and pet free house shared with a first year (September '24) PhD student (male) in Medical Biophysics and the landlord/owner (female). All rooms and outdoor space are common except for bedrooms and third floor... which is used as my office. In total, there will be three people living in the home.

Who this will suit: A person who is quiet, and respectful of each other’s personal space; who is serious about their studies, clean and tidy, especially of shared areas. Most students in the past have cooked the majority of meals at home (and I encourage it), with a good amount of food storage for you, and you share a fridge with the other tenant.

The bedroom that is available: Twin bed, bookcase, two large closets, motorized sit/stand desk and chair. Bedding, towels and linen are provided or bring your own. Available from July 1, 2025.

The first floor comprises of the living/dining/kitchen and mudroom (which contains indoor bicycle storage -- Bikeshare is also nearby.) Well-equipped kitchen with two fridges, dishwasher, induction cooktop, two ovens, microwave, Vitamix blender, KitchenAid mixer, Instant Pot, rice cooker, slow cooker, air fryer, lots of dishes, pots, pans, baking stuff, etc.

The second floor contains the three bedrooms and a bathroom.

Basement: A second full bathroom is located here, and washer and dryer. There is a gym/TV area/multipurpose room located here as well.

Backyard: Backyard with covered pergola, BBQ, pizza oven, grill and tables and chairs. Laneway parking behind backyard for temporary use.

Internet, utilities, laundry are all included.

Located in Leslieville with lots of transit options. 506 streetcar located 25 metres away which will take you directly to campus, or an easy bike ride. Five minute bus ride to Donlands or Pape subway, or the Queen streetcar. Gerrard Square shopping mall is 100 metres away with many restaurants, Food Basics, Walmart, Home Depot, Planet Fitness, dollar store and Staples. Many other grocery options 10-15 minute walk away as well. It's a very safe neighbourhood with many young families, singles, and a lot of restaurants and bars both on Gerrard and on Queen Street which is just a couple blocks away. Woodbine Beach, the Danforth, Cherry Beach, the Portlands and ravine system about a 5-10 minute bike ride away.
