The room available to rent is on the 3rd floor. It is charming with slanted ceilings, a single bed/mattress, corner desk and shelving unit for clothes and books. The closet is half sized due to slanted ceiling. Laundry is provided once every week for bedding & towels.

The house was built in 1890 so while it is charming, it has creaky doors and floors. It can be drafty in the winter. Extra blankets are provided. It is steps to public transit, steps to UofT campus, grocery store, coffee shops, restaurants, book stores, all within one block. There is only one bathroom and spout for shower is low - this may be uncomfortable for a tall person.

Notice: This is a family home. Owner has a separate kitchen and hosts family dinners 2 times a week. No parties allowed, no loud music, no guests in the home other than the renter. There is a common living room and common kitchen for students exclusively. You are welcome to sit on the porch, in the front garden, or enjoy the backyard. No noise after 11pm.
