There are many doors to allow for privacy. The unit on the second floor includes a kitchenette/sitting room with convection oven, microwave, rice cooker, and pressure cooker. A full size fridge offers lots of space for prepping and storing meals ahead of time. The The second floor and 3-piece bathroom is occasionally shared with the owner. There are two bedrooms in the second floor, with the second bedroom functioning as an office space for the owner usually during the daytime hours. The house inhabitants also include two cats and parakeets - all rescues! We also have a corn snake kept in a terrarium on the first floor. Utilities and WIFI are included. Bed linens and towels are provided. Laundry on weekends w/ laundry soap provided.
Air conditioning is provided by a wall unit on each floor. During very hot or cold weather conditions, keeping doors open is encouraged to best circulate the cool or warm air. The bedroom has a standing fan in addition to the hallway heat pumps. The city encourages us to save water and to recycle, which means short showers (5-8 minutes) and rinsing food containers before placing in the recycling bin. We try to follow environment-friendly guidelines as much as possible. Guidelines also include tidying up after using the shared spaces (kitchenette and bathroom), the use of headphones when listing to music or watching videos, and no overnight guests.
