Searching for a new roommate for the second bedroom in my apartment for September 1 move in-( there is a possibility to arrange with the current renter for earlier but I can't guarantee). The unit is on an upper floor and is bright and spacious with... great city views all the way to the CN tower and lake! You will have use of all the common area furniture and kitchen equipment and dining supplies. You only need to furnish your room and your personal items.

I have been here for three years now with two different roommates. I am respectful of personal space and the need for quiet for study etc but also open to you having friends over (larger gatherings etc would need notice). We would love to find someone to share thate has some common interests or wants to share some cooking, and games or other social activities.

The space is comfortable with plants, fish and frogs and happy to make room for you to add some of your stuff too and pets may be considered.

The building is right in the lively Village area of downtown with transit at the doorstep and an easy walk to the St. George campus. FYI This area is LGBTQ+ focused and would be a good fit for anyone part of that community or accepting.

There is a small gym and swimming pool as well as a rooftop patio (summer use for patio only). There is a large pay-for-use laundry room downstairs in the building and a small convenience store which is ..... convenient.

The building is pet friendly so that is something we could discuss.

The building is older and downtown so we have added some features for security including an auto lock and additional smoke alarms, fire extinguishers andfire blankets.

Unit is rent controlled so the price can only go up $50 a year approximately. I will be here probably until Sep 2026 and then you could potentially take over the lease with a new roommate. I have been here 3 years because of convenience, comfort and the lower rent.

I am not a neat freak and my room can get pretty tragic especially during exams but I will work with you to keep common areas clean. I have a mini free-standing dishwasher, vacuum, robot vac, steam cleaner and lots of other cleaning tools to help with keeping things clean.

I am open-minded and considerate and looking for the same. Email me with a little info on why my place appeals and about you and any questions you have about me or the place and I will send you my cell # so we can connect up and show you the place if it sounds good to both of us. Would love to have it sorted before the Summer break!!
