The location is perfect - just steps away from the subway, grocery store, pharmacy, bookstore, countless coffee shops, restaurants, bars, and specialty retail stores.

This is a four bedroom house and there are two separate rooms for rent. One is on the second floor, beside the bathroom and the kitchen. The other is on the third floor, which is an attic suite. Both rooms have single beds, a desk, desk light, shelves for books, shelves, drawers, and closet for clothes. The third floor room comes with a mini fridge and a Dyson hot/cold air purifying system.

The landlord provides fluffy white towels, bed linens, extra blankets, and one load of laundry is provided every week for either bedding & towels or personal effects. A laundromat for additional laundry is just 1.5 blocks away on Harbord street.

The house was built in 1890 so while it is charming, it has creaky doors, creaky floors and creaky staircases. There is one bathroom shared for all people living in the home including landlord. Note - the spout on the shower is low - this may be uncomfortable for a tall person. Showers are hot!

Tenants have a dedicated kitchen. It's a full kitchen with coffee press, kettle, toaster, microwave, hot plate / burner stove, convection oven, and plates, cutlery, bowls, measuring cups, measuring spoons, knives, etc. Landlord has a separate kitchen on the main floor. No noise after 11pm.

Wifi and utilities included in rent including garbage removal, snow removal, electricity, gas, hot water and more. Please note landlord works in-house through the daytime and there are THREE cats. If you are allergic to cats do not rent this space.

As all rooms have locks on the inside - they can not be locked by the outside and for that reason, to keep tenants and their property safe, visitors to the home must be pre-approved.
