The available bedroom (see photos) has its own ensuite two-piece bathroom. A full bathroom (see photos) is shared with the other student. The bedroom has a large closet with shelves and is fully furnished with a double bed, bedside table, bookshelf, chest of drawers, desk and chair.
The two students share a private kitchen (including pantry space) and a living room area (incl. LCD projector/Amazon Firestick for television) in the basement (see photos).
The house is very large and there are 4 living room areas; enough for the two students (and the landlords) to each have their own living room space without having to co-ordinate space/time. There is a large backyard with an in-ground swimming pool.
Lease can be flexible, ranging from an academic year (Sept. 1 to May 30th) to 12-months. We’re located in a quiet neighbourhood, which is a 10-minute drive to the UTM campus, 8-minute drive to Square One and Sheridan College and a 20-minute drive to Pearson Airport. It is also close to multiple bus stops and walking distance to various grocery stores and plazas with restaurants, pharmacies, etc.
About us: We are retired teachers renting out two bedrooms in our two-storey home. We are a warm and welcoming couple, whose children have moved out.
