Kintore College Female Student Residence - Family Environment - 3 Healthy Meals 7 Days/Week!
“Surround yourself with positive people who are going to push you toward greatness.” – Anonymous
Kintore College Student Residence & Cultural Centre sees itself as fertile ground for the cultivation of young women who will go on to share their... gifts with the wider community. We provide a family atmosphere that encourages personal growth and flourishing, academic excellence, and service. Our motto, "Respice Stellam", inspires each resident to look to the highest star and aim to emulate its greatness in her own life.
Kintore’s prestigious guest speakers and countless mentorship and volunteer opportunities embolden each resident to go beyond the lecture hall and do great things. We believe this greatness is best achieved in a healthy family environment, which is why daily shared meals and get-togethers are integral to life at Kintore. Lifelong friendships are fostered in our community of generous, hardworking, and supportive young women.
Kintore is open to female post-secondary students ages 18-25. We provide three shared, home-cooked meals a day, and weekly laundry and cleaning services. Kintore is located near the University of Toronto St. George (U of T downtown) Campus, but also welcomes students attending Toronto Metropolitan University, OCAD University, George Brown College, and other post-secondary institutions in the Greater Toronto Area.
Kintore offers the following facilities: single bedrooms with private en suite bathroom; library; individual and group study rooms; dining room; dinette; living rooms; chapel.
Kintore offers the following Mandatory Services: $500/month - 3 home cooked meals, 7 days/week (take out meals are also available); cleaning service (bedroom, all bathrooms and general facilities); personal laundry services; supply of linen and towels, laundered weekly.
Kintore College is a private, non-profit student residence. The building was funded and built by Promotion of Education and Values (PEV), a non-profit organization that aims to help women in all levels of society. The optional spiritual activities at Kintore are entrusted to the Prelature of Opus Dei, an institution of the Roman Catholic Church.
Kintore College is largely intended for undergraduate students. Applicants should be between 18 and 25 years of age.
